Mountain Spaa
Just bought a photograph from an artist/photographer friend of mine in Midway, Utah. I saw it on his Facebook page and loved it. Check out his work (Donald Ruhlman)...cool stuff.

I Coulda Been a Drug Dealer

More vintage design inspiration from the streets of Nashville. I like this sign for a couple of reasons. Not only is it in my neighborhood of east Nashville but it reminds me of my first vocation as a locksmith. The first job I ever had at 14 years old was working for a locksmith shop in Phoenix and I worked there through high school and up until I turned 20. Then the owner started wanting me to start delivering pot for him and I decided rather than get into the drug dealing business, I'd try to find a job in art. Fortunately I did and I've been doing that ever since. Probably would have made more money the other way, though...

Every Day Art
If I could buy up every old dilapidated sign or marquee I see I would. Here's one behind a derelict building on Main Street in east Nashville.
